Providence Manager Marketing Materials in Portland, Oregon

Description:

Providence Health Plan is calling a Manager Marketing Materials to our location in Portland, OR.

We are seeking a Manager Marketing Materials who will be responsible for hiring, developing, scaling and maintaining team of materials experts and related processes in order to deliver on time and accurate member materials for the Medicare line of business within the health plan ministry. Will provide ongoing evaluation and recommendations for supply chain, materials tracking database and materials composition methods. Performs all duties with a minimum of direct supervision.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Leads and inspires the materials team to generate on time and accurate materials across all lines of business.

  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations to boards, administrative councils, committees and external audiences with compelling delivery to gain support.

  • Understands detail of materials requirements and related processes in order to adequately support individual caregivers performing the tasks.

  • Understands and supports lean principles in order to apply rigor and constant improvement.

  • Applies informal change management across directly impacted departments.

  • Maintains expert knowledge of supply chain in order to bring the most cost effective and relevant solutions to the health plan.

  • Develops and drives appropriate vendor relationships to ensure contingency plans are in place to support and scale health plan growth targets and line of business expansion.

  • Establish and monitor success measures and expectations of executive team.

  • Recommends improvements in office support procedures and implements same when approved.

  • Establishes and promotes positive working relationships within the department and throughout PHP.

  • Performance manages team of detail-oriented individual caregivers.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 10 or more years work experience developing or managing materials in the healthcare industry.
