Manager Government Programs Analytics
This position will be remote and may pivot to a hybrid model in 2022 working a combination of in office and remote.
The Manager, Government Program Analytics manages staff, sets priorities for the department, and provides advanced analytical support to the organization. Provides project management and requires the use of advanced analytical and reporting skills and process improvement methodologies to design and review evaluation plans, coordinate data collection across groups, guide and develop analysts for reporting support, leading team meetings, and mentor junior staff. This position supports financial and actuarial departments in preparing and understanding revenue accruals under the Medicare and Medicaid payment system risk adjustment models. It also supports risk adjustment reporting and analysis.
Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, Computer Science, Biological Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
7 years healthcare experience; 5 years of which should be a combination of progressive leadership experience and analytical roles working with multiple data systems and multiple data reporting tools, programming in T-SQL and SQL Reporting Services.
Experience in revenue risk adjustment methodologies - specifically CMS-HCC and CDPS + Rx models
Experience working with accountants and actuaries in preparing monthly accruals.
Experience with Medicare and Medicaid revenue methodologies.
Demonstrated experience with managing professional staff who work independently on tasks and projects.
Experience creating and manipulating databases for provider contracting and requests for financial analysis.
Demonstrated experience applying project management skills in data-related and financial analysis projects.
Master's Degree in Public Health, Statistics, Health Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with commercial methods.
