Manager, Behavioral Health - Adult Inpatient Psychiatry at Providence Portland Medical Center
Fulltime, Days (Mon-Fri)

Responsible for program and financial operation interface for the Adult Inpatient Psychiatry programs at Providence St Vincent Medical Center or Providence Portland Medical Center. Reports directly to facility nursing leadership and in a matrixed relationship to the Medical Director and Regional Behavioral health leadership. This role works in partnership with nursing services. Responsible for operations improvements and programmatic development to improve clinical and financial performance of care delivery for these specific services. Position is responsible to provide assistance in development of overall programming and provision of services so they are: Evidence based, quality driven, responsive to the needs of patient/family/referral source satisfaction and provided in cost efficient fashion.
Required qualifications:
Master's Degree in Mental health, behavioral health, or related psychiatric field.
5 years Experience in direct clinical care of adult patients in a psychiatric treatment milieu.
5 years Successful mental health management experience in clinical setting with demonstrated supervisory competence and program management.
Overall experience to include successful application of knowledge in finance, compliant charging practices, organizational systems, personnel and facility management, labor relations, reimbursement strategies, regulatory agency compliance, and physician relations.
