We are seeking a Exercise Specialist 2 - Cardiac Rehab that will delivers quality care for cardiac rehabilitation phase 2 and phase 3 clients. Supports the Heart and Vascular Institute primary and secondary prevention programs, educational classes and other existing health education services.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Demonstrates positive interactions with public, clients and staff in dealing with a variety of duties in various locations.
Develops exercise plans for phase 2 and phase 3 cardiac rehabilitation clients in collaboration with other cardiac rehabilitation staff and medical director.
Maintains delivery of quality care for all aspects of the cardiac rehabilitation programs, in coordination with the cardiac rehabilitation staff and medical director.
Coordinates with the staff providing services for the supervised exercise program.
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field
Current AHA BLS certification
ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 6 months experience in outpatient Cardiac Rehab services
