Providence Health & Services Executive Administrative Assistant in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling an Executive Administrative Assistant (0.8 FTE, Days) to the Program Development Women and Children department at Providence St. Vincent Medical Office Building in Portland, OR.
Are you someone who is savvy with Microsoft office, enjoys a lot of complex calendar scheduling, setting up complex meetings, taking very detailed minutes and can manage 2 very busy executive's schedules? Do you consider yourself an innovative individual, who can create more efficient processes? If you said yes, then we are looking for you!
The schedule for this is Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm.
In this position, you will:
Perform full and complex administrative and secretarial functions of a highly responsible and confidential nature to high-level executives.
Perform independent judgment and initiative on assignments that are sensitive in nature and demonstrated ability to interface with high level of internal and external contacts requiring considerable discretion and initiative.
Utilize considerable judgement and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations.
Required qualifications for this position include:
2 years of college or business school training -or- equivalent experience
5 years spent in a position equal to executive or administrative secretary to include advanced computer skills and working knowledge of a variety of software programs and communication vehicles
Public relations or customer service based experience
Evidence of written and oral communication skills
Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential matters
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree
