Providence Health & Services Environmental Stewardship Program Analyst/Coordinator in Portland, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Environmental Stewardship Program Analyst/Coordinator to our location in Renton, WA, or OR, CA, MT, AK, TX,NM.
We are seeking a Environmental Stewardship Program Analyst/Coordinator who will report to the Executive Director, Environmental Stewardship, helping to advance the Providence environmental stewardship (ES) vision and strategy with implementation of an organization-wide program. The candidate will provide broad-based support to advance program initiatives to achieve the organizational goal of carbon negativity by 2030. The role is full-time, based in Renton, WA, and can be fulfilled remotely in large part.
In this position you will:
Lead special projects to increase the comprehensiveness of the overarching ES program, which may include, but are not limited to:
Gather, organize, and track data that supports the ES initiative
Gather, organize, and contribute to ES reporting internally and externally
Support the development of ES communications/outreach materials, such as case studies and social media posts
Support development and deployment of ES Educational workshops
Manage the Providence ES Inbox and respond to caregiver inquiries
Collaborate with colleagues in other functional areas to advance ES broadly
Coordinate with 3rd party utility management vendors as needed
Other duties as assigned
Project management responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:
Manage and lead teams of caregivers in specific initiatives as directed as part of the organization-wide ES program
Organize and manage ES documents on MS Teams
Develop distribution lists of caregivers to aid in the collection of key data to perform analysis of employee commuting, hazardous chemical inventory and management, supply chain practices, etc.
Distill data from various ES initiatives into narratives for reports
Required qualification for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, English, or clinical field
3-5 years in corporate program experience
Preferred qualification for this position include:
3 years Large non-profit healthcare and ES experience
Experience with environmental, social and governance reporting frameworks like GRI, CDP
Background and understanding of voluntary environmental reporting protocols, like the GHG Protocol, Scope 3 Protocol and Food Loss and Waste Protocol are a plus
Knowledge and familiarity with communicating ES on social media
