Providence Health & Services Driver in Portland, Oregon

Description:

Providence is calling a Driver to a regional position within the greater Portland area. This is a full-time, benefited position. Schedule is 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.

We are seeking a Driver who will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of recycling and medical waste within the Oregon Region facilities. This position will be responsible for maintaining the maintenance and repair records for their vehicle. Other duties may be assigned to include driving and sustainability related tasks.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver recycling and medical waste within PHS facilities.

  • Follow established schedules and adjust accordingly to meet unanticipated changes.

  • Operation of equipment in a safe, non-endangering manner and in compliance with Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles licensing regulations.

  • Put recycling inventory away in proper locations using the proper equipment.

  • Maintain standard records such as logs of vehicles serviced, miles driven, and gasoline purchased.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Valid Oregon or Washington driver's license

  • Clean driving record needed
