Providence CTMS Senior Quality Control (QC) Analyst in Portland, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a CTMS Senior Quality Control (QC) Analyst to our location in Portland, OR.
We are seeking a CTMS Senior Quality Control (QC) Analyst who will support the lifecycle management of CTMS Data Quality Control, including executing the Velos eResearch QC plan across the PSJH enterprise, assisting in creating SOPs and QC reports, QC execution, and study team training. The Analyst should have critical thinking skills for complex problem solving and high-end data analysis skills as it relates to clinical trial workflow data. The individual should be a keen analyst and a thoughtful communicator carefully achieving the overall goals of data stewardship through nurturing of partnerships with study teams and research administration leadership. They should bring strategic and tactical abilities to identify key operational process improvements through the data and trends that are brought to light via the QC process. This role is outward facing and requires exceptional customer service, communication and relationship building skills.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Supports and executes CTMS QC functions, including maintaining a comprehensive QC matrix that outlines the What, Who and When for each data topic that will be QCd.
Supports the operationalization plan for all QC topics including development of SOPs, working practice guidelines, and training staff.
Defines QC metrics and develops a QC dashboard for stakeholder and leadership review.
Oversees the development of the CTMS reports and executes the reports required to support the QC process.
Implements QC efforts, outreaching to study teams, ministries, administrative leadership and investigators as appropriate.
Identifies operational process improvements that come to light through the QC process and works with the CTMS Manager and CTMS Trainer to support implementation of improvements.
Communicates QC program-related messages and updates to a diverse set of stakeholders ranging from study team staff to administrative staff and leadership.
Supports and leads efforts to plan and manage research QC goals as directed by Office of Research Administration Leadership.
Provide support for training and education in operational/quality improvement, process improvement and project management as necessary. Initiates planning with key program core leaders for program development/enhancement, education, seminars and events for internal and external stakeholders.
Provides oversight, direction, and coordination as needed for areas of purview.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Appropriate scientific, legal or business discipline or 4 additional years of related experience.
8 years closely related experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree MBA, MSA, MPH.
10 or more years Relevant QC experience.
