Certified Nursing Assistant 2 - Short Stay Surgical Unit - Providence Portland Medical Center (1.0 FTE, Evenings)
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) - Short Stay Surgical Unit to assist a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Coursework/Training: Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) course, -OR-
CNA 2 coursework: Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements
Active and unencumbered license in the state of Oregon as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Current BLS certification
New onboarding caregivers must have a current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- One (1) year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2)
