Providence Health & Services Clinical Pharmacy Manager-Infusion and LTC in Portland, Oregon

Providence is calling a Clinical Infusion Manager to Providence Home Services Building in Portland, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Provide clinical leadership for the Home Services Infusion and Long Term Care pharmacies.

  • Manage the clinical practice model and provides leadership at the departmental and regional levels with a focus on quality, medication safety, and compliance.

  • Coordinate the daily clinical activities of the pharmacies to provide for well-organized and efficient departments.

  • Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all pharmacies meet Providence Standards and Federal and State requirements.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Current, unrestricted Oregon pharmacist license, or ability to become licensed prior to employment

  • American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists qualifications for residency preceptors

  • 2 years of pharmacy management experience

  • Experience using electronic medical record software

  • In compliance with the Providence Health & Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 “Background Checks”, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties

  • Employees providing services in the State of Washington must pass the Washington Access To Criminal History (WATCH) Background Check

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • PharmD or Masters of Science in Pharmacy with residency

  • Board Certification

  • Post-graduate Year One Residency Training -or-

  • 3 years of patient care experience

  • Experience in an integrated healthcare delivery system
