Cutting Edge Research - You will be working in the Earle ChilesResearch Institute - which is a world class research facility founded byDr. Walter Urba,M.D., Ph.D. with a team of more than 100 research staffengaged in over 150 clinical trialsthat no one else in the world is doing.
Pharmacists Onsite - We have 2 pharmacists onsite to mix chemo and answerquestions to care immediately for our patients.

This position is part-time 32 hours/week. It will be 8 hour shifts, four days a week, Monday through Friday only.
In this position, you will:
Provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an oncology clinic or infusion center environment.
Be accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan.
Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.
Have key functions and specific skills for the job are found in the unit specific on boarding checklist and in standards that are applicable to the specialty.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing degree/diploma upon hire
All Registered Nurses without a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing most are encouraged to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher within 3 years of hire
Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of hire, and wherever care is delivered
If RN holds a multi state license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of licensure in the new state(s) of hire
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) - within 3 years of hire
Bio/chemotherapy certification within 4 months of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Oncology infusion experience strongly considered
