Providence Health & Services Clinic Manager 2 - Integrative Medicine in Portland, Oregon


Providence is calling a Clinic Manager 2 - Integrative Medicine to Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinic Manager that is passionate about business development as we are expanding our integrative medicine services throughout the Oregon region. A successful candidate will have management experience in a clinic setting, a strong financial background managing budgets and optimizing costs and experience with contracts and reimbursment rates. Candidates with an MBA, will be strongly considered.

This position will oversee two Integrative Medicine Clinics; one at Providence Portland, and one at Providence St. Vincent, so will require travel during the week.

In this position, you will:

  • Provide ongoing leadership for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure cost-effective and quality operations of multiple clinics.

  • Ensure strategic integration of care and clinical practices to provide an optimal patient experience.

  • Lead staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in a timely manner which are sensitive to the patients physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.

  • Ensure compliance with established clinical policies and procedures.

  • Participate in PMG-wide special projects, committees or task forces as requested.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree (BA/BS) (business and/or health care related) plus 2 years experience -or-

  • 6 years equivalent work experience which includes management experience.

  • 1 year of previous clinic management experience.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Multi-specialty clinic management experience
