Providence is calling a Cleaning Attendant - Guest Housing to Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. This is an on call, variable shift position.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Provide guests with a warm and caring attitude promoting the concept of a Home Away From Home and which reflects the Sisters of Providence Mission and Core Values.
Executing cleaning tasks in a sanitary, and orderly manner using proper sanitation procedures and practices.
Provide an attractive atmosphere for all. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of guest room service ware, and equipment.
Ensure that all residents observe guesthouse rules.
Ensure the safety and security of residents within the facility and accountable for the safety and security of residents within the facility according to Guesthouse policies, procedures and safety standards when only employee in building.
Checking inventory cleaning and linen supplies.
Assist with the maintenance of equipment, appliances, and furnishings.
Provide errand assistance.
Provide assistance to the front desk staff.
Provide accurate documentation in all applicable Guest House manuals.
Perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concept.
Be knowledgeable about all guest forms relating to guests and be knowledgeable about all guesthouse policies.
Preferred qualification in this position includes:
High school diploma -OR- GED
Hospital and Hotel experience
