Providence Health & Services Process Improvement Consultant in Polson, Montana
Providence is calling a Process Improvement Consultant (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position youwill:
Partner with managers and employees tofacilitate, create and implement process and systems improvement (LeanHealthcare).
Assist in developing measurement toolsto determine efficacy.
Facilitate, train and advise othersregarding process and systems improvement.
Develop appropriate trainingmaterials.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree inrelevant field
Five years in aposition directly applying lean techniques and quality problem solvingtechniques
Experience developingand delivering educational materials in a group setting
Demonstrated ability tocommunicate both orally and in writing
Strong computer skills withexperience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in a health careenvironment
Past experience in Lean, Six-Sigma, orQuality Engineering
Understanding of both clinical andnon-clinical activities and processes within a healthcare setting
