Providence Health & Services Digital Product Manager in Oregon

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Digital Product Manager based out of our location in Portland, OR. This role will be remote and open to the footprint of Providence in the states of AK, WA, OR, CA, TX, MT, and NM.

We are seeking a Digital Product Manager who will be accountable for developing and executing digital products for Providence members, providers, employers, and producers that align to the business strategy. The work is inclusive of product visioning, life cycle management, feasibility, implementation, budget planning and metrics development and reporting of all health plan digital products. On a day to day basic you will conduct market research (market and technology drivers), competitive analysis, strategic product positioning, product prioritization, proforma analysis, engage with external key stakeholders, vendors, and consumers, while ensuring all activities are consistent with Providence's mission, vision and core values. You will be charged with driving the product development process to lead to innovative digital products and experiences that will differentiate PHP from the competition and drive PHP growth. This position must also be adept at agile principles and translating business needs to technical partners, executives, internal functional areas, external partners and technical teams (architects, software developers and agile teams).

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ownership of one or more digital products for the health plan, inclusive of budget, scope, resources and time lines.

  • Management of the day-to-day progress of digital product development, planning and execution.

  • Establishing and monitoring success measures and expectations for each digital product.

  • Defining ROI of activities; ensure activities support company initiatives, goals and pre-established metrics.

  • Identifying consumer trends and information to drive market research in advance of competitors and marketplace shifts.

  • Providing direction and collaboration among multiple functional areas (information services, marketing, sales, operations, underwriting, regulatory, public relations, communications) and with vendors, to execute specific product plans.

  • Providing active leadership in marketing, product and information services decision making efforts and presentation of plans and strategy.

  • Maintaining expert knowledge of digital trends, consumer behavior and expectations.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

  • 3 years progressive business experience leading digital product development and deployment.

  • Proven track record of creating, launching and growing digital products, working with internal development suport and vendors

  • Experience in product visioning, strategy and concepts creation and driving a product idea through feasibility and implementation phases.

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching meaningful and lasting products to achieve ROI.
