Providence is calling a Registered Nurse - House Supervisor (0.0 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR.

Bring your nursing leadership experience to our ministry for this On-Call House Supervisor position. Shifts would cover vacations and sick leave openings, on both day and night shifts, and will also look to fill in on the schedule as needed.

In this position, you will:

  • Be accountable for the provision of quality nursing services and coordination of the inter-professional team in a hospital for a defined shift. The work the Supervisor does consistently supports the Providence Health & Services Mission, Values, and goals.

  • Perform with a consistent focus on patient and family centered care and high reliability principles.

  • Promote evidence-based practice within a context of constant change in patient volume and acuity, and available resources.

  • Serve as the primary leader in ensuring effective and efficient patient flow in the Hospital.

  • Build collaborative relationships with others Health System, and uses timely and effective verbal and written communication approaches.

  • Constructively lead through organizational change.

  • Demonstrate commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrates contemporary professional nursing standards and skills.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider

  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification

  • 5 years in nursing with experience in progressive leadership roles

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or master's degree in related field

  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
