Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 - Medical Surgical (0.9 FTE, Variables) to Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR.
This is a TEMPORARY position that will last for at least 3 months.
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 who will perform clinical duties and assists licensed nursing personnel in the provision of basic nursing tasks.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures as delegated.
Answer call lights and respond to patient requests; refers to RN as appropriate.
Collect, record and report patient data.
Assist patients with all aspects of personal care, and mobility needs.
Assist with nutrition and hydration.
Provide toileting assistance, when needed.
Collect Specimen: urine, stool, sputum. Perform Hemocult test.
Required q ualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) course, or "grandfathered" to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements
Active and unencumbered license in the state of Oregon as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred q ualifications for this position include:
1 year General hospital experience
1 year Experience as a CNA 2
