Providence Health & Services Clinical Education Program Manager in Oregon City, Oregon
Providence is calling a Clinical Education Program Manager (1.0 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center and Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Oregon City and SE Oregon.
In this position you will:
Design and maintain contemporary evidence based credentialing, orientation and mentorship programs in concert with the Director of Nursing Practice, Quality and Outcomes.
Collaborate with management and supervisory staff to develop curriculum for clinical staff to meet state and federal mandates, regulatory requirements, improve practice and achieve zero-harm patient outcomes.
Perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects the Providence St Josephs mission, values and philosophy.

Is great with effective problem-solving
Demonstrates excellent teaching methods and communication skills
Has basic and advanced arrhythmia knowledge/teaching experience
Is great with working effectively with all members of the health care team
Incorporates and teaches continuous quality improvement and high reliability
Is excellent in tracking details and seeing "big picture" quality and strategic needs
Demonstrates the ability to attend to a variety of tasks amidst many environmental distractions
Demonstrates the ability to mentor and develop individuals and groups
Prioritizes work and manages time to meet job performance expectations within allocated time frames
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master's in relevant field
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire
5 years of recent clinical experience (preferably community-based)
Valid driver’s license, automobile liability insurance and reliable transportation
Expert knowledge of standards and practices in nursing and inter-professional education
Expert knowledge in CMS, OHSA, TJC, OHA standards of care
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
3 years of formal leadership experience
2 years of minimum management/supervisory experience
