Providence RN Clinic - Neurosurgery in Olympia, Washington


Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Neurosurgery for Providence Medical Group Southwest Washington in Olympia, WA.

We are seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse to be a members of the care team with surgical or acute experience. A significant portion of responsibilities will be handling patient triage calls which requires the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of patient care over the phone. Additional duties include working with the providers to education the patient on their plan of care which includes entering orders, reviewing the After Visit Summary and follow-up regarding diagnostics.

In this position you will:

  • Triage patients and communicate patient needs to the provider.

  • Arrange for patient testing, referrals, and/or hospital admission as appropriate.

  • Ensure orders are entered as prescribed by the provider.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Completion of a recognized program to obtain an RN license in the State of Washington

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Washington

  • Current BLS certification – Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited).

Preferred qualification for this position include:

  • 1 year of experience in an acute care or surgical setting

  • 6 months of experience in an outpatient setting
