Providence Program Assistant - Utilization Review in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Care Management Program Assistant (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
The Program/ Project Assistants is responsible for day-to-day support of PSPH’s appeal process of insurance denials and performs a variety of specialized clerical duties in support of administrative operations of departmental programs or projects. Duties focus on assisting the Director and clinical staff with project support duties, such as tracking expenditures and program information; producing statistical and summary reports; reviewing and monitoring claim accounts, developing written materials and answering correspondence.
In this position you will:
Coordinates clerical aspects of departmental functions as required. Serves as initial point of contact on behalf of department. Accepts and communicates messages from community agencies, facilities, and the public
Performs word processing; composes correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents. Uses personal computer, copiers, fax, and other office equipment.
Performs administrative detail work on special projects or programs requiring specialized knowledge of the programs.
Performs planning and coordinating activities such as scheduling meetings and events, preparing materials and presentations for meetings and events
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree or Additional clerical experience
Driver’s abstract indicating a valid Washington State Drivers license in good standing.
One (1) year clerical experience
Computer spreadsheet or database skills and proficiency in reading and writing English are required. Strong communication skill with external and internal customers. Ability to remain organized within tight timelines
