Providence Health & Services MRI Technologist in Olympia, Washington
Providence is looking for a MRI Technologist (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties at PSPH. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons.
In this position you will:
Effectively plans and arrange day-to-day work load.
Operates the MRI scanner and auxiliary equipment.
Effectively works with Radiologists and staff in the tailoring of scan protocols.
Complies with facility and unit specific safety procedures, including MR Screening Safety.
Able to manage other service related issues in a safe and effective manner.
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Coursework/Training - 2 years community college/vocational training in an accredited Radiological technologist program.
AART (American Association of Radiological Technologists).
Registration as a Radiological Technologist, with the Washington State Dept. of Health.
AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support).
Preferred qualification for this position includes:
2 years in Sub-specialty MRI, Scanning, or Imaging experience.
