This posting is for multiple openings of a Medical Assistant - Centralized Patient Access at Providence Medical Group Southwest Washington. We are hiring for full-time positions in the following locations: Lacey, Olympia, Rochester, Centralia, and Chehalis.
The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam.
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Six (6) months healthcare experience
Six (6) months Medical Assistant experience
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam
