Providence Health & Services Group Therapist - Psychiatric Unit in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Group Therapist (Per Diem, Variable Shift) to work in the Psychiatric Unit at Providence St. Peter's Hospital in Olympia, WA.
We are seeking a Group Therapist to provide inpatient group psychotherapy.
In this position you will:
Carry out crisis intervention and counseling.
Complete emergent clinical assessments of patients to aide in successful outcomes.
Provide information, follow-up referrals and discharge planning to patients and families.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Licensed in Washington State as a Mental Health Counselor or eligible to obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor
Three years experience in acute care mental health
One year experience conducting psychoterapeutic and psychoeducational groups
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Professional license qualifying as a Mental Health Professional
