Providence Health & Services Food Services Worker in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Food Services Worker (0.5 FTE, Days) to Food and Nutrition Services at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
We’re seeking a detail-oriented individual to be responsible for such duties as: washing dishes, silverware, utensils, pots, pans and equipment in accordance with health, safety, and sanitary procedures; retrieving meal trays from patient care units throughout the medical center; cleaning floors and emptying garbage; replenishing floor stock; taking and recording temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and dish machine; and maintaining cleanliness of the nursing units’ refrigerators and/or freezers.
In this position you will:
Participate in the workflow of the Foodservice Department, performing tasks such as scrapping dirty dishes, loading and unloading dishwasher, cleaning pots and pans, cleaning/sanitizing utensils, catering supplies, tables and work areas
Clean patient food tray carts and/or utility carts
Keep kitchen/cafeteria orderly and clean
Sweep and mop floor
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current Washington Food Handlers Permit
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Six (6) months related experience and/or training
