Providence Senior Financial Analyst PSJH in Montana
Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Revenue). This position is currently 100% remote. Post the Covid-19 pandemic, the role will move to a hybrid model of working both remotely and in the office. This role is open to candiates who reside in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon or California.
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide insightful analytics and accounting for PSJH's $26B revenue portfolio. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex revenue streams, understanding financial impacts and identifying potential issues through forward looking analytics. This role will be heavily focused on monitoring and escalating issues related to net revenue, assisting in development of net revenue models and embracing new methodologies and data review techniques in support of our existing reporting deliverables. The incumbent will perform all duties in a manner that promotes PSJH’s mission, values and philosophy.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Analyze complex revenue streams and identify impactful insights regarding key drivers. Recommend solutions based on business requirements.
Communicate findings to key stakeholders and conduct monthly review calls
Serve as a liaison between the Reimbursement Department and ministry finance leaders.
Assist in identifying and implementing policy and procedural changes to ensure optimal revenue recognition and compliance with internal and external requirements.
Assist in evaluation and preparation of various reimbursement optimization strategies and makes recommendations that positively impact existing reimbursement schemes.
Participate and recommend solutions for special projects and provide analytical support for Reimbursement, Finance and Revenue Cycle leadership.
Assist in the development of Medicare, Medicaid and other governmental payment modeling.
Assist regional and system finance teams in forecasting and annual net revenue budget process. Serve as the main point of contact with regional finance leadership.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in the healthcare finance or, accounting field
