Providence Health & Services Revenue Integrity CDM Liaison PSJH in Montana


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling for a Revenue Integrity CDM Liaison PSJH to work remotely within our footprint within AK, CA, MT, OR, TX or WA.

We are seeking a Revenue Integrity CDM Liaison PSJH to provide a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and share comprehensive and highly specialized revenue cycle expertise with its hospitals and affiliates. The Revenue Integrity/CDM System Liaison will ensure that PSJH Epic deployments are planned and executed in a manner that supports the PSJH mission for integration, and collaboration across the enterprise including partners, and affiliates. The Revenue Integrity/CDM System Liaison assists in managing Epic Deployments, upgrades, and growth and alignment projects related to Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster for PSJH hospital ministries, Community Technology Partners, and hospital affiliates. The RICDM Liaison will assist in managing system revenue integrity/CDM to support Epic deployment readiness. Such activities include ensuring that departments and CFO's understand the impact of changes to their chargemaster (CDM) and department revenue. The Liaison will be responsible for planning and managing the Revenue Engagement center for Epic go lives.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage the Revenue Integrity/CDM deployment readiness check lists during the Epic and post Epic go-lives for new facilities/departments across the Providence St. Joseph enterprise, Community Technology Partners, Affiliates.

  • Attends deployment related and other meetings; captures and follows up on action items, prepares status reports, prepares presentation materials. Conducts presentations when requested.

  • Coordinates and participates in sessions related to CDM Validations, Gap Analysis, Deployment Readiness, RICDM Training, etc.

  • Accurately assesses needs, conducts gap analysis, identifies key stakeholders and prioritizes multiple responsibilities.

  • Serves as a RICDM Deployment resource for the RICDM Dept, its customers and Revenue Cycle pillar leaders.

  • Aides in the development and maintenance of Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster standards, procedures and workflows for capturing necessary data for deployment readiness and the on-going maintenance of charge related items.

  • Regularly communicates project statuses to the RICDM Leadership, comprehensively outlining problematic workload/workflow issues and solutions being implemented.

  • Communicates major issues and service failures that impede success following the chain of command in a calm and respective manner.

  • Promotes CDM validation activities that are compliant with regulatory guidelines, standardizing as much as possible.

  • Trains local customers and system RI/CDM members in their roles to be on-site customer service contacts for RI/CDM related issues.

  • Facilitates new processes initiated by the Manager or Director, by developing checklists and tip sheets for staff and clinical end users.

  • Provides regular and ad-hoc status and management reports to RICDM Leaders regarding deployments and team assignments and tracks the RICDM Deployment team hours and Resource plan.

  • Assists in coordination with Epic clinical application analysts to update charge capture methods as standards are set or updated.

  • Supports the Manager, Director and RI/CDM Team and responds positively to special projects and responsibilities, including performance objectives, as assigned.

  • Plans and coordinates and executes to meet Deployment project timelines and deliverables.

  • Meets or exceeds customer service satisfaction levels.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Finance, Business, Nursing, or related field

  • Valid Automobile Driver's License in the state of your primary work location; AK, OR, WA, MT, CA, TX

  • 5 years experience in hospital Chargemaster, or in the healthcare industry including experience in a multi-hospital and/or integrated healthcare system with strong knowledge of departmental charging methods, hospital finance principles, and regulatory billing requirements

  • 3 years Operational performance improvement and/or project management experience

  • 3 years experience working within Epic

  • 3 years experience and proven proficiency in MS Windows and Office applications including MS Project

  • 1 year experience using MS Teams, Zoom, other remote meeting software

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • HB Revenue Integrity CDM Epic certification through EPIC Madison within 1 year of hire; upon hire

  • Coding Certificate e.g. CPC, COC, CCS, CIRCC, CCC issued by AAPC or AHIMA

  • Healthcare Finance Certificate issued by HFMA
