Providence Registered Dietitian I in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Registered Dietitian I (Food and Nutrition Services, Days, 0.0 FTE) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Assess and evaluate patients nutritional needs based on established standards of practice.
Assess patient/family learning needs, abilities, preferences and readiness to learn.
Assess, collaborate and coordinate patient’s nutrition discharge planning needs with other members of the care team.
Attend interdisciplinary team patient care conference and discharge planning meeting.
Audit medical records for accuracy and appropriateness of nutrition care.
Coordinate with physicians, clinical staff and food service personnel for optimal patient nutritional care.
Function as a member/leader of Interdisciplinary care delivery team.
Document patient/family education on appropriate form/screen.
Implement nutrition portion of care plan.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics
Post-graduate internship accredited by ADA
Registered Dietitian by CDR or registry eligible with original copy of verification statement from CADE accredited program.
Licensed or license eligible with Board of Medical Examiners to practice as a nutritionist in the State of Montana.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in an acute care facility.
