Providence Health & Services Provider Concierge Coordinator in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Provider Concierge Coordinator (Hospital Administration, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Medical Group in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for collaborating, facilitating, and maintaining key relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a successful transition for all new Providence Medical Group providers.
Effectively communicate with providers throughout the onboarding process by responding to general questions, identifying and resolving issues, researching and resolving inquiries from the providers.
Be responsible for identifying best-practices and making recommendations for improvements to the on-boarding and off-boarding transition process.
Be responsible for coordinating with internal stakeholders to establish goals for on-boarding programs.
Work creatively with other departments to assess appropriate provider on-boarding content and delivery.
Be responsible for submission of payer and delegated credentialing applications, and follow up with payers.
Be responsible for recredentialing of providers with the payers.
Analyze work queues in the electronic health record to resolve bills that failed due to credentialing issues.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
Six (6) years of experience working directlywith physicians in a clinical setting will be considered in lieu of aBachelor’s degree
Two (2) years of healthcare experience working with physicians in a clinic or hospital setting
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between multiple locations
Knowledge of the health care environment, payor contracts and credentialing, and medical office policies and proeceudres.
