Providence Health & Services Program Manager - Neuroscience Service Line in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Program Manager - Neuroscience Service Line (Full time, Exempt) to Providence Medical Group in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Be responsible for all clinical matters (staff supervision and influence/process and work flows/policies and procedures/accreditation guidelines) for the Neuroscience Service Line clinical programs, current and yet to be developed.
Work directly with NSL physicians, advanced-practice providers, clinical support staff, and inpatient nurse managers to strengthen and maintain clinical standards for patient care, reflective of current evidence-based or consensus-based medicine.
Be direct point of contact for NSL physicians, advanced-practice providers, clinical support staff, telestroke and referral sites, and outreach clinics.
Provide continuous assessment of patient care area activities and provides direction and issue resolution in a timely manner.
Efficiently controls the productivity and staffing for patient care, through the use of leadership skills; promotes staff productivity and positive staff morale that includes staff involvement in problem solving; demonstrates skill in communicating clearly, concisely and factually in various settings utilizing both verbal and written means; informs the Director of emergent or unusual events, trends, problems perceived and suggestions for problem resolution and/or improvement for departmental operations.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
Current licensure in the State of Montana as a Registered Nurse
BLS – Healthcare provider
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) degree
Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)
3-5 years nursing experience with 3-5 years in neuroscience nursing
