Providence Health & Services Manager Physician Practice II in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Manager Physician Practice II (Wound Care, Days, 1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Oversees the daily operations of the support staff in multiple clinics or programs, including access, scheduling, patient flow, telephones, information systems, medical records and patient care.
Overall responsibility for recruitment, retention, training, compensation, and performance management of all clinic support staff.
Analyzes monthly statistical reports on clinic production and revenues.
Recommends and implements process improvement plans to address areas of deficiency.
Develops and monitors clinic or department operating budgets.
Assures clinic operates within budget.
Oversees accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, billing and collection functions for the clinic.
Assists with recruitment of providers.
Assists others with the provider medical staff credentialing and payor credentialing.
Assists with establishment of provider quality metrics and dashboard tracking.
Oversees clinic participation and compliance in all PMG and PH&S programs.
Overall responsibility for quality and medical management programs for the clinic. Assures compliance with programs.
Develops and maintains effective and professional relationships with all patients, staff, and providers.
Overall responsibility for identifying and addressing patient concerns and complaints in an appropriate, timely manner and in accordance with PMG guidelines. Reviews and responds to patient satisfaction data. Recommends and implements process improvement to address areas of deficiency.
Coordinates marketing materials and programs with Marketing Department.
Oversees the maintenance of the clinic building, offices and equipment.
Overall responsibility to assure appropriate inventory and ordering of office and medical supplies.
Oversees communication between patients and the Physician Billing Office, including financial arrangements and charity care requests as needed.
Is an active member of the PMG Management Team and contributes to its success by participating and collaborating with all management team members.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Practice Manager II’s hired after 12/1/2016 are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
2 years of practice management experience highly preferred
2 years of experience in ambulatory or inpatient healthcare operations preferred.
Montana State RN License preferred.
ANCC approved certification preferred.
