Providence Health & Services ECHO Cardiographer in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a ECHO Cardiographer (Echo, Day Shift, 0.8 FTE) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
This position will work 8 or 10 hour shift – Monday –
Friday, with rotation of coverage for weekend as necessary. There will be variable shift starts between 7 AM and 9 AM. It will also be on-call 1 x per week and on-call
weekends for coverage as necessary
In this position you will:
Conduct procedures for patients with known or suspected congenital or acquired heart disease or other disorders.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in the assessment, treatment, and care of patients and their families.
Complete all required paperwork & tracking associated with services provided by the department.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Cardiac Sonographer program or demonstrated experience in the field
Current or eligible for registration with the registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) or Registry of Cardiac Sonographers (RCS)
Current Basic Life Saving(BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience performing cardiovascular ultrasound examinations
