Providence Health & Services Development Coordinator in Missoula, Montana


Providence is calling a Development Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Manage administrative support activities such as schedule meetings, maintaining calendars, filing and organization, drafting correspondence and trip itineraries, responding to inquiries, and handling mail.

  • Communicate and interact with donors.

  • Be lead staff person assigned to office supply orders, inventory, and office operation.

  • Support foundation and hospital staff to ensure development of needed proposals and collateral, coordinate communication and marketing materials, and draft and review gift and pledge agreements.

  • Support all development staff with events and assist in planning various events.

  • Support a variety of programs and marketing campaigns.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)

  • Three (3) plus years of experience, preferably in healthcare philanthropy (or a comparably complex organization).

  • Three (3) years of related administrative experience, project and event management skills.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office software applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor Degree.
