Providence is calling a CNA Senior (Clinical Decision Unit,Night-shift, 0.9 FTE) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Precept new staff to the CNA role based on each specific nursing unit orientation
Possess Skills to float to different nursing units for CNA coverage
Has a minimum of 4 years of CNA experience
Apply patient identification and allergy bands
Complete accurate intake and output
Complete and documents personal inventory on newly admitted patient and places their belonging in the locked cupboard
Contribute to the assessment of the patient by collecting information for analysis by an RN
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Coursework/Training of current CNA certification in Montana
Current CNA certification in Montana required. Current AHA-BLS
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire
4 years of successful completion of an orientation program and minimum of 4 years of CNA experience
