Special Events Officer

Location: Mission Viejo, CA

Work Schedule: Full time - 80 Biweekly Hours

Shift: 8-hour, Days

EVENTS: Under the direction of the Director of Special Events and Support Groups is responsible for managing, coordinating and organizing all Foundation assigned annual giving events as part of the plans and strategies designed to increase donations to the hospital. Manages and develops agendas for signature annual events and volunteers engaged in the spirit of giving and special event activities with full responsibility for outcomes. Develops strategic plans for Camino Health Center Auxiliary Fashion Show and Valiant Women Luncheon events with full responsibility for outcomes. Manages and develops agendas, and attends all Valiant Women Fashion Show, and Camino Health Center Auxiliary Fashion Show meetings, sub-committees, supports leaders and volunteers.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 7 years related work experience.

  • 5 years Progressive and proven experience in implementing and creating special events and managing high level staff and volunteers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree.

  • 10 or more years Special event experience.

  • CFRE.
