Providence Health & Services Director of Diagnostic Imaging in Milwaukie, Oregon
Providence is calling a Director of Diagnostic Imaging to Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR.
In this position, you will:
Provide leadership, operational and financial management of Imaging Services, e.g. Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine and Support Services.
Be accountable, in collaboration with the Medical Director, for implementing and managing a model of care and service that supports the acute care site for an integrated delivery system across a continuum of care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
Be responsible for implementing the necessary quality improvement processes and components to achieve the desired outcomes.
Have expertise in developing business plans and developing and implementing growth strategies.
Succeed in this position with linkages with Providence Medical Group (PMG) and within Ambulatory Services.
Have a leadership role in the Health Systems Diagnostic Imaging Resource Council.
Direct daily operations through close interaction with colleagues, staff, physicians, nursing personnel and medical offices.
Be responsible for development and implementation of operations, which are integrated and consistent with the regional delivery system.
Have on site responsibilities: provide leadership, management and direction for all services within Diagnostic Imaging (DI).
Direct operational activities of the various DI departments at the hospital to achieve goals and objectives.
Serve as a catalyst and mentor for motivating productivity, innovation, high employee morale and commitment to the organization.
Develop, monitor and effectively regulate departmental budgets.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor degree, or a combination of education and applicable experience
Graduate of an ACR Certified Radiologic Technology Training Program
Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARDMS or NMTCB
Must be currently licensed in the State of Oregon by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging
Education in Hospital Administration and Personnel Management
5 years of working as a Imaging Technologist or Sonographer
5-8 years of progressive leadership roles in a Radiology Department
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Masters degree in Business, Administration or Radiology
