Providence Physical Therapist (Pelvic Health) - Women’s Clinic *$5,000 Hiring Bonus* in Mill Creek, Washington


Providence is calling a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist - Women’s Clinic (0.9 FTE/Days) at Providence Medical Group Northwest Washington in Mill Creek, WA.

We are seeking a Physical Therapist that will provide medically prescribed therapy services using professionally accepted Physical Therapy theory and skills.

Location: Mill Creek Commons, Women’s Health Clinic, 1 day in Everett YMCA Clinic, 9 hours/day, 4 days/week.

In this position you will:

  • Demonstrate age specific patient care considerations for the population served:

  • Demonstrate application of knowledge, skills, and behaviors in the physical, motor/sensory, cognitive, psychosocial, patient and family education areas based on PMG age specific competency training

  • Perform examination:

  • Review history

  • Review systems

  • Perform Tests & measurements

  • Perform and develops evaluation:

  • Identify impairments, functional limitations, and disability

  • Develop prognosis:

  • Develop a plan of care which includes:

  • Anticipated goals

  • Expected outcomes

  • Specific interventions

  • Duration & frequency of the interventions required

  • Provide intervention:

  • Coordination (the working together of all parties involved with the person served)

  • Communication (all modes of exchange of information)

  • Patient/client-related instruction

  • Procedural interventions

  • Bills for services appropriately, timely and ethically

  • Perform reexamination:

  • Performs selected tests & measurements after the initial examination as clinically indicated to evaluate progress & to modify or redirect interventions

  • Identify outcomes:

  • Analyses:

  • The disease/disorder/condition

  • Impairments

  • Functional limitations

  • Disabilities

  • Risk reduction/prevention

  • Health, wellness, & fitness

  • Societal resources

  • Satisfaction of the person served

  • Discharge patients/Discontinuation of Services:

  • Discharges patient from service when goals & outcomes have been achieved or discontinues patient from service when:

  • Person served declines intervention

  • Person served is unable to progress toward goals

  • Therapist determines that person served no longer benefits from intervention

  • Disciplinary specific documentation is completed on a timely basis and in accord with all requirements


Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy

  • Pelvic Health Physical Therapy education and experience (both female and male)

  • Pediatric rehabilitation professional experience as a PT preferred, but will consider new graduates with relevant intern experience

  • Adult rehabilitation professional experience as a PT preferred, but will consider new graduates with relevant intern experience

  • Washington State PT License.

  • Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) within six (6) months

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy

  • Use of electronic medical records

  • Physical therapy experience in clinical setting

  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills
