Providence Health & Services RN Coordinator - Sepsis & Quality Improvement in Medford, Oregon
Providence is calling a Sepsis Nurse Sensitive Quality Improvement Program Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR.
This is a fantastic and unique opportunity to work under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer and oversee all aspects of the sepsis program throughout Providence Medford Medical Center. In this role, you will develop and implement the ongoing adherence of the Sepsis Program protocols and therapies and ensure that those protocols and therapies become the standard of care followed within the facility, while providing and participating in the quality improvement process. In this role, you will collaborate with medical and hospital staff to promote multidisciplinary care to patients with a diagnosis of sepsis. There's also a lot of responsibility around collecting and analyzing sepsis program patient data to assist with documentation, clinical care, and improved outcomes. This work will be done on various hospital and community committees to enhance and foster a fiscally sound and quality/outcomes driven sepsis program. Required qualifications for this position include:
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in critical care or the emergency department
Knowledge of infection control
Current license to practice as an RN in the state of Oregon
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Master's of Business Administration (MBA)
1 year of experience as a Program Coordinator
Experience as a Clinical Nurse Leader or Clinical Nurse Specialist
