Providence Health & Services Environmental Services Manager in Medford, Oregon


Providence is calling a Environmental Services Manager to Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Oversee daily operational needs of the Environmental Services department and includes other departments/Services such as Linen Department, Conference Meeting Services, and Guest Housing.

  • Provide leadership to develop, manage and direct the tasks of the department and lead staff.

  • Assure that staff is trained in accordance with The Joint Commission guidelines.

  • Monitor, coach and mentor leads and staff to meet high levels of performance and accountability.

  • Be responsible for assisting in the creation and monitoring of quality assurance parameters specific to Environmental Services Department.

  • Provide leadership and oversight necessary to maintain a clean, sanitized, and attractive medical facility for patients, staff and visitors. They will ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree -or- a combination of applicable work experience and education.

  • 4 or more years in a supervisory or management role in a hospitality or healthcare setting

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Knowledge of sound management principles, strong interpersonal communication, and motivational skills

  • Advanced coursework in the area of environmental services, human resources, business, and quality management
