Providence Health & Services Clinic RN - Doctor's Clinic in Medford, Oregon
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse to Providence Medical Group Doctors Clinic in Medford, OR. This is a full-time, day shift position, Monday-Friday. You may start out by working 5, 8 hour shifts, but after orientation and training, may transition to a 4, 10 hour shift schedule.
The patients seen in this clinic are acutely ill (average age is 66 years). We are seeking applicants who have had exposure to inpatient care, and also some exposure to outpatient care.
In this position, you will:
Be the professional responsible for facilitating the patient care flow in the clinic while providing direct patient care for an assigned provider.
Facilitate the workflow in the area by conducting nursing assessments and documentation.
Contribute expertise in the areas of patient scheduling, telephone advice and pharmacy needs.
Assist with maintaining compliance to professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements and will support physicians in delivering quality health care to patients taking into account the patients' individual physical or age-related needs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
1 year of acute care experience is highly preferred
Some clinical experience in an outpatient environment is highly preferred (i.e. MA, RN, etc).
