Senior HVAC Technician at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center
Performs repairs, maintains and installs all Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems and equipment to full operating functions as designed for each building's operation.
2 years degree in an accredited vocational HVAC/R college
Must have and maintain a Universal level CFC Certification
Must have and maintain a California Drivers License
5 years without degree in accredited vocational HVAC/R college: Experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair
2 years with degree in accredited vocational HVAC/R college: Experience in HVAC/R maintenance, troubleshooting and repair
Knowledge of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair
Knowledge of refrigerant recovery
Ability to perform preventative maintenance according to Planned Maintenance schedule
Working knowledge of HVAC and associated systems employing computer-based monitoring and control devices
Ability to use hand tools, power tools and troubleshooting instruments applicable to trade
Ability to repair and/or replace building mechanical systems components, including programmable logic controls
Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures
Ability to use computer based monitoring and control devices in maintain and troubleshooting HVAC systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
Knowledge of computerized systems
