Physical Education Instructor Providence California Regional Services

The ideal candidate is passionate about physical activity and nutrition and has experience working with K-5 students in a school/after school setting. This individual will also be resourceful, well organized, and creative in promoting and enhancing program needs and services.

This position is 24 hours/week, 10 months/year, and includes health and vacation benefits. Typical schedule is 8:00p-2:00p Monday-Friday plus four additional flex hours at some point in the week. Having flexibility in your schedule is very important.

Required qualifications

  • Coursework/Training At least one year of college

  • 1 year of Experience working with groups of children

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience working in elementary school setting and after school setting

  • Experience participating in nutrition and physical activity campaigns, education, and programming

  • Ability to speak Spanish
