Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse – Radiant Care Lacey in Lacey, Washington
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (1 FTE, Day Shift) to the Radiant Care Lacey Clinic.
The nursing staff will participate in a variety of patient and non-patient activities to assist the Radiation Oncologist in providing a competent and caring environment for patients and their families.
In this position you will:
Must perform well in stressful and emergency situations.
Must be well versed in the use of computer systems.
Ensure that exam rooms are fully stocked and ready for use daily.
Manages sample medications.
Schedules x-ray exams, lab work, simulations, and e-boost as necessary.
Answer phones for the Radiation Oncology Department as needed.
Route phone calls to the appropriate people.
Filing of documents as needed.
Pulls information for simulations and chart rounds as necessary.
Efficiently manages patient flow in the clinical area.
Facilitate flow to keep Physicians efficient.
Creates and maintains patient teaching materials including printed material and pamphlets.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Degree in Nursing
Computer experience (word processing)
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Oncology nursing experience.
