Providence Health & Services Senior Marketing Manager in Irvine, California
We have an exciting opportunity to join a growing team as a Senior Marketing Manager for Providence’s Southern California region. The senior manager is responsible for creating strategic marketing plans and deploying campaigns to achieve organizational business objectives. Day-to-day tasks include liaising with stakeholders to understand business needs, developing detailed marketing plans, and partnering with multi-disciplinary teams on campaign execution. The senior manager ensures that planning follows the appropriate campaign development processes and that campaigns are executed on time and on budget. The senior manager participates in key strategic meetings and forums to provide a constant and trusted presence for the marketing function and gives sound marketing counsel, advice, and strategic input in support of operations. The senior manager ensures all marketing activities are in alignment with current brand guidelines, will identify and proactively manage consumer messaging touch points, and work directly with creative services and other vendors to brief in and manage the development of campaign deliverables and appropriate collateral. The senior manager also ensures all marketing activities and messages are aligned in-market and that campaign objectives are clearly stated, measured, and reported appropriately.
In this position you will:
Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns; create and communicate strategy briefs and make recommendations on marketing tactics and channels.
Evaluate the impact of marketing activities and tactics in achieving stated objectives and optimize campaigns in market in real time.
Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and planning.
Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders and external agencies and vendors; manage and coordinate support services as part of campaign planning and execution.
Lead the execution of marketing plans from start to finish, driving collaboration and communication with stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes and resources.
Manage assigned stakeholder relationships and proactively communicate activities as well as campaign progress, learning and results.
Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends; communicate trends and learnings to stakeholders and provide strategic recommendations as appropriate.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, business or related field or equivalent education/experience.
Experience building complex marketing plans and reporting on the results.
Proven marketing campaign management experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
8 years experience in a marketing leadership role.
Health care marketing or health care leadership.
