Providence Senior Business Partner, Practice Optimization in Irvine, California
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Business Partner, Practice Optimization. This position can be located anywhere within the PSJH System footprint.
We are seeking a Senior Business Partner, Practice Optimization PSJH who will collaborate with regional partners under the direction of Enterprise Care Management leaders. This role will utilize our population health analytics platform to help regions make data informed decisions to drive population health initiatives, practice transformation, and strategy through the lens of Health Equity. This position will collaborate and share knowledge across the system.
This position requires a solid mastery of evidence, data, health care delivery, and workflow.
This position is required to have a working knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or other User /
Reporting Interfaces with the expectation they will be enterprise "super users" of our population health analytics platform.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Analytic Consultation: Work with Regional team to identify and evaluate trends in health care, local conditions, economic conditions and competitive institutions.
Clinical Insight: Understand how data can be used to provide insights for: 1) Population identification, stratification & segmentation, 2) Health, risk & needs assessment, 3) Transition and continuity of care gaps, 4) Care coordination among providers and community partners, 5) Whole person care (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and social), 6) Access, 7) Outcome reporting, and 8) Evaluation of metrics
Requirements Gathering: Full cycle analytics understanding business requirements, extracting data, analyzing data, predicting, measuring outcome and making recommendations required. Collaborating with ECMC Subject Matter Experts on solution design.
CPH User Interface: Works within Tableau and other software products to support data analytics initiatives for the Population Health ECMC team
Required qualifications for this position include:
6 years of relevant analytics experience using and creating metrics, analysis, and reports.
6 years of relevant experience in a healthcare / clinical setting.
3 years of relevant experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
2 years of relevant experience with Tableau or comparable BI tools.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, other clinical discipline, or clinical analytics.
RN, Social Work, Pharmacist, Educator Certification within 2 years of hire.
