Providence Health & Services Stewardship Officer in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Stewardship Officer (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence General Foundation at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
We are seeking a Stewardship Officer to be responsible for the strategy and execution of all donor stewardship activities to ensure that Providence General Foundation donors experience high-quality interactions with the organization that fosters long-term engagement and investment. This includes mark-com activities such as the development of overall donor stewardship strategies and plans, stewardship communications, donor listings and recognition walls, fulfillment of donor societies and gift club benefits, and stewardship related to Foundation events. The Stewardship Officer is also responsible for the communications vision and strategy for the Foundation that informs and inspires our community to financially support and advance Providence’s strategic health care priorities through philanthropy.
In this position you will:
Develop stewardship plans for key major gift donors and identified donors with major gift potential. Identify a Moves Management strategy to enhance engagement and realize subsequent gifts; assist in assigning prospects for follow-up with major gifts officer.
Develop annual impact mailing to all donors highlighting key areas of support; work closely with service line leaders, physicians and nursing team to collect data, outcomes and patient stories; develop and creatively write articles for key publications, newsletters e-postings and manage all electronic communications and social media for foundation.
Network with other organizations, local and out of state, benchmarking stewardship trends, and being a subject matter expert to identify best practices; implement proven stewardship strategies.
Manage Donor Listings in Annual Report, including Cumulative Annual Giving and Donor Society Listings; manage volunteer stewardship and thank you gifts, such as board members, campaign committees, event volunteers, etc.
Responsible for establishing and managing the benefit delivery process for all donor societies and gift clubs (Friends of Providence, Legacy Society, Hour Club and other Annual Giving Gift Clubs).
Serves as the lead for all cultivation and stewardship events, including Evening with Friends, Desert Event, educational forums, Campaign-related events, Retired Nursing Tea and other potential opportunities.
Develop and implement an annual communications strategy in coordination with the Chief Development Officer and Director of Development to include social media, website, email, media and print.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma
Five (5) years’ experience in development and communication.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
Basic math computations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Develop the design phase and review materials for content accuracy
Handle moderately complex to highly complex problems
