Providence Health & Services Speech Language Pathologist - Children's Center in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Speech Language Pathologist (1.0 FTE, Days) in Children's Center to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of caregivers who provide diagnostic and therapeutic treatment to outpatient and inpatients who exhibit speech language or swallowing disorders.
In this position you will:
Inaccordance with physician request, provide initial evaluation (includingstandardized assessments) and recommend appropriate treatment plan.
Partnerwith fellow care providers, including early intervention specialists, toprovide therapy for the recovery or improvement of patient’s speech orswallowing function.
Incorporatethe child and family into the care plan, and provide education to thechild and family regarding the therapy and maintenance of the speech orswallowing disorder.
Timelyand appropriate communication, including documentation in the electronicmedical record.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Current Speech Therapy licensure
Application to American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certification
ASHA American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include
Experiencewith pediatric care, particularly early intervention, in-center and NICU.
Experiencewith children with autism, and with applied behavior analysis programs.
Experiencewith VFSS for pediatric patients.
