Providence RN - Trauma Clinical Coordinator - Trauma Injury Prevention (1.0 FTE, Variable Shifts) in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Trauma Clinical Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Variable Shift) to the Trauma Injury Prevention at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.

Assists the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Program Medical Director to monitor, and coordinate all aspects of the Trauma Service. Responsible for clinical data abstraction from the medical records of trauma patients for the purposes of data submissions, injury research, epidemiology, and quality improvement.
In this position you will:
Provides education and orientation for nurses and other clinicians involved in the care of the trauma patients
Collaborates with Clinical Educators to provide ongoing access to high quality trauma educational offerings:
Provides regular reports to the Trauma Program Manager and Trauma Medical Director with recommendations to address quality issues.
Direct involvement/observation and coaching of trauma team staff members
Follows quality improvement processes in response to trends and feedback from patient data and feedback from providers and clinicians
Available and skilled at presenting to community and other groups as requested
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Professional Nursing certification consistent with clinical background (ex: CEN, CPEN, CCRN, CFRN
Current WA State RN license
TNCC Instructor within 1 year of employment in this position
ENPC Instructor within 1 year of employment in this position
Three (3) years emergency Department or Critical Care experience in a Level III or higher Trauma Center
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s Degree in Nursing (MN or MSN)
