Providence is calling a Registered Nurse - Staff (0.9 FTE, Night Shift -1830-0700 hrs) to Providence Health & Services, Emergency Services in Everett, WA.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Staff to apply the nursing process to provide professional nursing care to assigned patient population in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.
In this position you will:
Understand and articulate scope of practice for licensed RN in Washington State.
Maintain current knowledge of departmental, clinical, and organizational standards.
Demonstrate collaboration with patient/family by actively engaging them in planning and providing care.
Demonstrate Value-Based Service Standards and Behaviors in all interactions with patients, families, and members of the health care team.
Practices in accordance with departmental, clinical, and organizational standards and within legal scope of practice.
Build knowledge base by participating in organizational education activities, reading professional publications, and attending conferences.
Promote a just and ethical culture by being transparent in all interactions.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate Degree in Nursing.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within 5 years of hire date.
Current WA State RN licensure.
BLS/ACLS Certification/Recertification for Patient Care Areas for required certifications by assigned unit and time frames in which these must be obtained.
Acute care experience working with the patient population similar to department of hire or completion of the specialty residency located at that facility.
