Providence Health & Services Pharmacy Assistant - Inpatient in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Pharmacy Assistant (0.8 FTE, Evenings) to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
The Pharmacy Assistant Offsite will perform administrative and technical/support functions in a pharmacy. Assist in filling orders, clerical duties, and inventory management under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist.
In this position you will:
Type and file reports, complete forms as directed, perform miscellaneous typing and filing.
Keep records on all drugs delivered to pharmacy.
Respond to patient and provider inquiries.
Fill orders for prepackaged items.
Document all third party reimbursements.
Prepare patient and departmental charges.
Perform cashier duties.
Maintain confidentiality of records or medical center information at all times.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Meet requirements for registration with State of Washington Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Assistant
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Medical and pharmaceutical terminology, basic mathematical functions
