Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Clinic

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Clinic will work under the direction and supervision of the Clinic Supervisor, Practice Manager or appropriate staff to support in the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare in a safe, respectful manner that ensures patient respect and dignity. The Clinic LPN provides practical nursing and office functions including lab testing, telephone follow-up, basic patient education, patient scheduling and care throughout the clinical visit as supervised by the RN and Physician. Participates as a fully engaged member of the care team, by demonstrated commitment to service and compassion for the patients of Providence and their families.
Work at this level typically involves a variety of complex clinical and clerical tasks requiring substantial knowledge of the department's work commitments and projects. Considerable independence and initiative is involved in determining how the work is performed and appropriate actions to be taken.
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
1 year Experience working in a medical setting
Current Washington State Licensure as a LPN
Current BLS certification – Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited)
